Artesian at La Boca

Anyway we rounded up the entire hostel and everyone (amazingly) cooked a dish each and we had ourselves a New Year's dinner party! It was incredible. The chicken we made turned out surprisingly well. So good food, loads of wine and a melting pot of citizens from all over pretty much sums up the New Year. 2010. and we all thought cars would fly/the world would end in 2010..
What we cooked up randomly

A 540am flight took us right to Ushuaia, the southernmost city of the world (to grasp the extent of this reach, imagine all cruises to the Antartica departs from this port). A quaint little city at the foot of snow clad mountains, actually feels like Switzerland. We will spend some time here, tomorrow to the Parque Nacional de la Tierra del Fuego, which literally translates to National Park of the Land of Fire. Quick story behind this: it's smack in the middle of summer right now and its 40F. Doesn't really get warmer than this around here. So imagine the winter months, in the past, inhabitants would keep a fire going all the time to keep themselves warm- Hence the name, Tierra del Fuego, Land of Fire.
